The Bar

Bartholomew Barn is situated in a stunning, rural setting, 5 minutes drive from Petworth.

In spring, the woods are carpeted with bluebells and the pretty gardens are always full of colour. The barn is fully restored using authentic materials, but comfort has not been sacrificed.

A huge wood-burning stove at one end of the barn makes it equally suitable for winter or summer reception parties.

Double doors lead on to a sheltered courtyard which with its central fish pond, parasols and patio heaters has a lovely, relaxed Mediterranean feel.

A small open-sided Barn runs the length of the courtyard -decorated with flowers, hanging baskets or fairy lights, this is lovely for an evening barbecue or spit roast.

The central fish pond, covered with scented waterlillies, is illuminated as dusk falls, creating an elegant, original and dramatic setting.

As we discussed on our letter in April the venue is not licensed for a paid bar, so we are organising an all inclusive bar for the evening which will need to be bought in advance of the day, priced at £20 per person.

This may seem a bit of faffing around, but it will make it much cheaper for everyone, regardless of what you drink; bottled beer, wine, spirits and mixer etc.

If there is any special requests for certain drinks, please use the form below to make sure we have your favourite tipple, shot or soft drink on the night!

Inclusive bar - £20 each

The tickets are unfortunately not refundable, but we hope you agree this will be much more affordable night than the alternative of paying hotel bar prices...

If you are known for being a very thirsty person and are likely to feel guilty at paying just £20 for a night on the tiles, then just buy yourself two!

Feel free to give us a call if your struggling to buy online.
